Çamurlu yerler, hippilerle çevrilmiş bir ortam ve tercih edilmeyen kokularıyla birlikte Woodstock Müzik ve Sanat Fuarı 15-18 Ağustos 1969 tarihleri arasında New York - Bethel'de gerçekleşti. Bazıları halihazırda meşhur, bazıları pek tanınmayan 30'dan fazla sanatçı o haftasonu oradaydı. İşte Woodstock'ın en efsane performansları:
